European Research Institute for Mediterranean and Euro-Arab Cooperation (MEDEA),

In partnership with

Generation Europe Foundation

invites you to a reception-presentation

An eventful year for our work areas is closing. It’s time to look back and take stock of some important elements. It’s also useful to look ahead to what the future may reserve for our Institute and its partners, and celebrate the beginning of summer, our successes and our friendship.

Dr Bichara Kader (UCL) will introduce the theme through four books:

Le Monde Arabe Expliqué à l’Europe (2009), L’Europe pour la Méditerranée (2009), Les Migrations dans les rapports euro-arabes (2011) and mostly Le printemps arabe : un premier bilan (2012) *

Mr Charles-Ferdinand Nothomb (MEDEA) will ensure moderation.

Professor Bichara Kader chairs the  « Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches sur le Monde Arabe Contemporain » at Catholic University of Louvain. Member of « the Groupe des Hauts Experts sur la Politique Etrangère et de Sécurité Commune » and member of the « Groupe des Sages pour le dialogué culturel en Méditerranée » in the past, he is currently Director of the « Fondation Méditerranée Nord-Sud ».
