PECDAR (Palestinian Economic Council for Development And Reconstruction)
Institution set up by the PLO in November 1993 to channel international aid given to the Palestinian territories after the Declaration of Principles signed between Israel and the PLO in September 1993.
PECDAR works together with several ministries of the Palestinian National Authority and plays a consultative role at different levels of the administration like the town councils or the municipalities. It encourages investments and the creation of jobs in the private sector and is also active in the management of infrastructure.
